Musical History

T. Bob is a native of Troy, Alabama, but he and his wife Janis have lived in Dallas, Texas since 1969. Janis and T. Bob are the very proud parents of Shawn who is married to Simri and they have three children — Avery, Asher and Sutton; Angie who is married to Brad Iles and they have four children — Olivia, Henry, Audrey and Allie; and Creth. Our family is a joy to us!! First Baptist Dallas is our church home where Janis sings in the choir. She also is a group leader in BSF evening class.

  • Sponsor and Pianist for Chapel Choir, FBC Dallas: 1968-1980 (including 10 international tours to Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, Orient, Near and Far East)
  • Concert Artist/Piano Soloist; Accompanist for numerous recording artists
  • 1981 Finalist at the Christian Artists Music Seminar in Estes Park, Colorado
  • Dallas Baptist Pastors Conference Pianist: 1992-1994

  • The International College of Dentists’s Annual Convocation Processional and Recessional Marches and background piano music for up to 2 I/2 hours of presentation of awardees crossing the stage, leading them in singing the National Anthem and closing with a patriotic medley that ended with audience singing along.
  • The Academy of Dentistry International’s Annual Convocation Processional and Recessional Marches and background piano music during presentation of New Fellows and the singing of the National Anthem.
