Maria Camacho: Registered Dental Assistant

Maria was born in Mexico when family was vacationing there and lived there the first three years of her life. However, she was reared in Dallas along with five brothers and has called Dallas home ever since.

Family is very precious to Maria. She has been married since Nov. 2007 to Adam. Her top priority is two daughters, one son and three step daughters. Maria enjoys reading, writing, antiques, traveling, do-it-yourself projects and meeting new people.

Having graduated from Dental Assistant School in 2001, Maria is passionate about education and participates in Continuing Education courses every year as a member of the American Dental Assistants Association. She has served as a chair side dental assistant in General Dentistry since 2001 and has been with Dr. Davis since July 2009. A highlight of being in dentistry was the privilege of going with Dr. Davis on his Dental Mission trips to Mexico and Nicaragua.

Being somewhat of a “dental coward” herself, she makes it her mission to make every patient’s experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She states “I look forward to being a part of your personal dental team; together we can succeed in keeping your smile beautiful and healthy!” — and she stands firmly behind that commitment!!

Stefani Tsur-Tsar: Registered Dental Assistant

Stefani moved from Belarus (formerly part of Russia) to the USA with her parents and 6 siblings in the early 1990’s. She started training as a dental assistant in Dr. Davis’s office in 1994. Stefani worked for Dr. Davis for 13 years before getting married. She married Peter in 2004 then started her family with Abigail and Matthew. Once her children were in school Stefani was available to work when needed as a temporary assistant. She enjoys working as an Registered Dental Assistant with Dr. Davis and taking care of patients.

Stefani enjoys playing volleyball, walking, hiking and travel with family to explore new places.

Janis Davis: Receptionist

Janis Davis is our receptionist and the wife of Dr. T. Bob, who was also born and reared in Alabama where she received her BA from Alabama College in Social Work. Prior to starting a family, Janis was a caseworker at Buckner Baptist Children’s Home in Dallas. She has worked in and out of the dental practice for about 40 years but full time since 2008. When patients call, Janis is usually the one who answers the phone. When patients don’t call, Janis is usually the one who calls the patients in an effort to help keep routine and consistency in their in-office dental continuing care appointments. She sends reminder notices for scheduling dental cleanings and exams with our hygienist. Interacting and commiserating with patients is a joy!

Creth Davis: Business Manager

Creth has been with the practice since 2005.  Along with being Dr. Davis’s son, he also keeps the office laughing with his incredible sense of humor.  At the office he’ll help you plan your treatment from a financial standpoint.  His attention to detail and knowledge of dental insurance assures quality service.  Away from the office Creth is a son, brother, and “favorite” uncle.  He serves with Lake Highlands Young Life and is active at the Dallas campus of The Village Church.
